Drawing Us Together

29 June, 2024-14 July, 2024

Campbelltown Mall is on Dharawal country, we pay our respect to the traditional owners, their elders past & present, and value their care and custodianship of these lands.

In honour of NAIDOC Week 2024, we are proud to have partnered with five First Nations authors from across Australia to create a selection of short stories and poems inspired by this year’s NAIDOC theme, Keep The Fire Burning. We are delighted to have partnered with Jayden Boundry, Coral Reeve, Bernadette Hardy, Ellen van Neerven and Alton Walley to write this year’s short story.

Throughout the July, we invited you, our much-loved Campbelltown community, to have your say and vote on your favourite of 70 illustrations created by local student artists to be featured in the community storybook. We received overwhelming support with 350 votes over the two-week period and thank all the talented student artists who contributed illustrations.
